Now
A snapshot of what I, Ahmad Bilal, Product Design Engineer & Researcher, am focused on. I update it when it changes.
Building Articos
I'm Founding Product Designer & Lead Researcher on Articos, an AI user-research platform. I lead the research, the experience design, and the production build. The system produces evidence-chained, confidence-scored research teams can audit and defend.
Design engineering at Paira
Since September 2026 I'm also a Forward Deployed Full Stack Design Engineer at Paira, a double-dating app in Detroit. I work across the mobile app, the partner portal and the database. So far that's photo moderation, push campaigns, over-the-air update prompts and the Android release. It's contract work, done remotely. Read the Paira case study →
Writing & research
The Grounded Simulation paper is under peer review. New in August: a solo preprint on medRxiv and SSRN auditing five open tuberculosis chest X-ray benchmarks for acquisition confounding. See Research for the papers.
